Explosions for wound healing and medication: ultrasound makes hydrogel plasters adhere better

Researchers at McGill University in Canada have been able to demonstrate that ultrasound can greatly increase the adhesive strength of hydrogel plasters. Professor Outi Supponen from ETH Zurich explains in the video how this works and how useful it can be for the administration of drugs via the skin.
