Microfluidics is indispensable for laboratory diagnostics. It helps to simplify processes in the laboratory and to bring results to patients quickly and reliably at the point of care. But in order to deliver precise results, microfluidic chips must also be produced with high precision. At COMPAMED 2024, numerous exhibitors offered advice and services relating to the production of microfluidic devices. We spoke to some of them for our video report.
Dr. Divesh Baxani-Kamal represents the Microfluidics Innovation Hub. The Austrian network of various partners supports customers in the design and development of microfluidics.
Jeroen Molenschot from Helvoet Rubber & Plastic Technologies explains why the right production tools are so important for the function of the end product and what trends he sees in chip development.
